The History of PacketDrivers
Founded in 1997 by Scott Hamlin and Bob Benshoof, PacketDrivers IT Outsourcing got its start as a network services company. The founders combined their collective experience in IT Management and Network Engineering in companies ranging from a small data protection company to Fortune 500 organizations. The goal was to bring the best of breed in design and support for the network requirements of small to medium size businesses in the Pacific Northwest.
In 1999, our largest client asked us to take over the responsibility for their entire IT operation. After considering the efficiency gains we had achieved across our client base through the implementation of good practices and procedures, we decided it was time to take this step. That decision set the course for becoming one of the premier IT Outsourcing partners in the Northwest.
Today, PacketDrivers enjoys a reputation for providing outstanding service, reliable administration and sound business advice. We are different than many firms offering outsourcing in that each of our managing partner/engineers come from business finance or business accounting backgrounds. Accordingly, we focus on making a measurable impact on our client's bottom lines. We combine an organized, process-oriented approach that employs the right resources for your specific needs with IT leadership that is in step with your business objectives.
